[...] Wilde Fig Since becoming a mom, I have had the eye-opening experience to the wide world of baby accessories. If you have a daughter, there is a chance you know what I’m talking about! A large percentage of the stuff out there is a joke though. Wilde Fig is a breath of fresh air from Portland, Oregon. This team of moms handmaking all of their products and packaging them in a very eco-responsible way. I was sent a headband to review and was pleasantly surprised that my daughter kept it on her head. Usually when I put a headband on her she’ll rip it off violently or if I leave it on too long she will get elastic impressions on her head from the band being too tight. Neither of these incidents happened with the Wilde Fig headband. I love the modern and minimalistic design and the fabric is durable, yet very soft. Not to worry if you have boys! There are a number of products, yes, all handmade, to choose from. There are bibs, binky clips, blankets, coffee wraps, changing pad sets, crayon rolls, diaper clutches, burp cloths, tooth fairy pillows, mitt identifiers and several gift sets for babies, kids and moms. Be sure to check out the flagship product, the dib (drool + bib = dib) Check out all the fun at www.wildefig.com Review by the ever fabulous, Myriah Heuberger.
[...] Nine Naturals We all try to take extra special care of ourselves while we are expecting a baby. We know that we need to eat right and stay away from X Ray machines but what about the things we do every day that we don’t think about? What about our personal hygiene? What is in the products that are being absorbed through our skin and reaching our developing baby? What you may not know is we need to be as conscious of what we put on our bodies as we are of what we put in our bodies. Nine Naturals has taken the dirty work out of researching the labels and uses only certified vegan ingredients, free of parabens, sulfates, DEA and phthalates. Plus it has an invigorating minty smell that helps revitalize you on even your most tired of days. I’ve tried my share of natural shampoos and have yet to find one that smells as good and has such a rich lather as Nine Naturals Minty Moisturizing Shampoo. You owe it to yourself and your baby to treat yourself to this fantastic shampoo and conditioner! Review by the ever fabulous, Myriah Heuberger. [...]

[...] ReUsies Did you know that the average person uses over 600 plastic sandwich bags a year? That can really add up. Thankfully a Seattle based company has made a difference with ReUsies. ReUsies are plastic-free, reusable alternative sandwich and snack bags, and they couldn’t be cuter. There are 11 choices in the sandwich size and 15 choices for the snack size. There is a pattern for everyone, they are mom, dad and kid friendly. The fabric is water resistant so it is able to keep all of your treats fresh and it takes up a lot less room than those plastic storage containers. ReUsies are just as user friendly to clean as they are to use. To clean you can toss them in the washing machine or dishwasher but to keep them pristine the longest, hand wash with a soapy sponge and air dry. If you are looking to make a difference in a very stylish way I highly recommend stocking up on ReUsies, especially since it will save some green after only a few uses!
